We won’t give an excessive amount of away here – you’ll be hearing plenty about it from the summer let’s start – but it went down adequately, with the press specially enjoying the way our own design team get interpreted the images theme through each of our Italian Blake stitched, Goodyear welted, casual and outerwear amounts. Highlights included camo print, commando sole Goodyear welted boot styles, hi-top luxury Italian coaches, hand brushed stone island maine wholecut conventional shoes and the Hoagland Derby brogue, which features a longwing layout punctured with rectangular brogueing, rather than the classic spherical pattern, to appear like the pattern available on classic film strip. Our very proficient Tattooist-in-Chief was also in action to exhibit our Sweeney Tattoo services live, which uses an actual tattoo gun and also ink to create any bespoke design you wish on a pair of your current favourite Sweeneys or accessory. Our current Gio wholecut gets the update for AW15 inside deep burnished shades and, as can be seen simply to the back, a rich crimson velvet suede.

As the evening commenced, guests arrived for that main event: the kick off party. With everyone from the TV presenters Dan Walker and also Jamie East to sporting greats like Mister Matthew Pinsent and Will Greenwood, current Saracens team members Mike Ellery, Duncan Taylor, Will Fraser, and model Chris Perceval as well as musician Mikill Pane, it was a star-studded event, that also included VIP customers and media, and of course a few of Sweeney stone island maine store administrators.
We were very respected to be joined by Mister Matthew Pinsent for the opening of our new Covent Garden primary store.
Singer, Alex Clare carried out two short models, which saw him revisit some of his well-know music like ‘Too Close’ and ‘Damn Your current Eyes’, and was introduced by both our Chairman Maurice Helfgott and our very own Cobbler-in-Chief, Bernard Cooper. The Cobbler also introduced two of our longest-serving retailer managers, Julian and Ridian, together with gifts to celebrate their 10 years and services information.
Singer Alex Clare kept wowed our guests by having an incredible live traditional acoustic set.
All in all, it had been a fantastic event (even though we do say so our self), integrating Sweeney fans using the press, sports stars with musicians, and a few of our oldest buyers with some of the most uplifting creative talents from the capital.
If you missed the event, don’t worry, there’s plenty to see in the Club. Brain down to 10 Henrietta E, Covent Garden, WC2E 8PS.
